With 8 years of experience in commercial electrical work, I bring a robust understanding of systems and safety to every project. I apply commercial management methodologies to the residential sector, ensuring tighter, more efficient project execution.

From initial planning to final execution, I am the central hub, diligently overseeing every step and ensuring the utmost accuracy and precision in all processes. ARCHITECTURAL SPECIALIST
In my pivotal role at Jane of All Trades, I work in close collaboration with Genevieve, focusing on the meticulous creation of detailed digital renders and comprehensive construction drawings. Our workflow is characterized by a truly symbiotic relationship, especially when it comes to communication and the effective resolution of design challenges. We approach each project with a shared vision, fostering an environment where ideas flow freely and problems are tackled with collective expertise.
My primary objective is to tailor every plan to ensure maximum logical coherence and operational efficiency. This includes an unwavering commitment to optimizing every single square inch of your kitchen cabinetry, guaranteeing that no space is wasted and every element is utilized to its fullest potential. From initial concept to final execution, I strive to create designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional and practical for everyday living.
My journey in design and construction began at the tender age of 15 in Lagos, Nigeria. This early exposure laid a strong foundation, leading me to work as an architect at a prominent Design-Build Firm, an experience remarkably similar to the integrated approach embraced by Jane of All Trades. Driven by a desire to broaden my knowledge and expand my professional horizons, I made the decision to relocate to Canada.

With over three decades of dedicated experience, I am the meticulous shop engine that masterminds the intricate parts of Genevieve and Tomiwa’s visionary designs. His journey has encompassed a vast array of materials and applications, honing his skills and deepening his understanding of the craft.
This dedication to precision and structure extends beyond the workshop. For just as long, he has been the rhythmic foundation for several of Winnipeg’s notable bands, from Hippo to his current powerhouse, Spectre. The same focus, collaborative spirit, and unwavering commitment required to anchor a band are the very skills he brings to every piece he builds.
After years of working independently, I can finally say with immense satisfaction that he is part of a team that is executing the design-build process as it truly should be—collaboratively, creatively, and with an unwavering commitment to excellence.

With a life as varied and rich as a cat with nine lives, I've accumulated a breadth of experiences across diverse fields. My journey began in Sweden, where my European appreciation for thoughtful construction and elegant design was cultivated. These ingrained sensibilities perfectly align with the core vision of Jane of All Trades: to elevate the renovation process from a mere construction project to a seamless, aesthetically pleasing, and ultimately rewarding transformation of space.
My background provides a unique perspective, blending practical expertise with an innate understanding of design principles, ensuring every project is not just built, but meticulously crafted.

CARPENTRY / ALL-ROUNDER
Having spent my entire adult life immersed in renovations, I cultivated a deep understanding of construction. Though a high school teacher by profession, my summers were dedicated to building. Growing up with a strong work ethic, perseverance, and limited resources, I learned to ask the critical questions needed to understand the intricate details of how things work.
Through numerous renovation projects, the most significant transformation was converting a 1900s barn into a partially-passive home, where my wife and I reside. My Mennonite sensibilities and my knack for thinking outside the box are deeply ingrained in everything I do, and by extension, in Genevieve as well.

As a dedicated student enrolled in the trades program at Applied Technical College (ATC), I am actively gaining invaluable hands-on experience with Jane of All Trades (JOAT).
My ambition is to develop a successful career within the building trades.
